Farmers market, spinach pesto samples, and learn to freeze

Fall is in full swing, and with it, a full bounty of vegetables is available at farmers market this week. Come on over to St. Joe’s for fresh vegetables from Tilian Farm and The Farm at St. Joe’s, including tomatoes, winter squash, and greens among other tasty seasonal offerings. Market starts at 11 and goes until 5.

The Farm at St. Joe’s intern Joyce, from U of M school of Public Health’s Dietetic program, will be teaching you about freezing fresh produce for winter, and will have samples of a delicious spinach pesto.
